Day Camp is open to all girls going into 1st through the 6th grade in the fall. Girls going into 7th are part of the PA's in training. Girls going into 8th- 12th grade can apply to be Program Aid's or VIT's. We will operate in grade level units during the week.
For troop leaders, day camp is a great place to get new program ideas, learn new skills, and possibly work with a different grade-level.
For moms of early-elementary girls, you can get to know our fabulous Program Aides and gain insights into the middle school and high school experience.
We are a 100% volunteer-run camp and rely on our adult volunteers to support creating an enriching and safe experience for all of our campers and program aides. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE OF GIRL SCOUTS IS NECESSARY. Many of our volunteers are NOT Girl Scout leaders – all you need is the desire to be fully present with the girls and have fun! If you have less than a full week available but still want to volunteer, an extra pair of hands is always welcome!
