Registration will open Sunday, March, 26th at 10 am for 2023
Trail and Sail Day Camp is nestled back in the trees of Willis Tucker Park at shelter #2 in Everett Wa. Day Camp is open to all girls going into 1st through the 6th grade in the fall. Girls going into 7th - 12th grade can apply to be Program Aid's or VIT's. We will operate in grade level pods during the week.
For troop leaders, day camp is a great place to get new program ideas, learn new skills, and possibly work with a different grade-level.
For moms of early-elementary girls, you can get to know our fabulous Program Aides and gain insights into the middle school and high school experience.
We are a 100% volunteer-run camp and rely on our adult volunteers to support creating an enriching and safe experience for all of our campers and program aides. NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE OF GIRL SCOUTS IS NECESSARY. Many of our volunteers are NOT Girl Scout leaders – all you need is the desire to be fully present with the girls and have fun! If you have less than a full week available but still want to volunteer, an extra pair of hands is always welcome!
Why should you volunteer at Trail and Sail Day Camp?
Discount on registration fees for your camper and guaranteed spot at camp.
For troop leaders, day camp is a great place to get new program ideas, learn new skills, and work with a different group of girls, or different grade-level girls.
For moms of early-elementary campers, you can get to know our fabulous Program Aides and gain insights into the middle school and high school experience.
It’s rewarding to watch the campers gain confidence by trying new things, making new friends, and building on traditions.
Enjoy the outdoors and meet some other really great people!
IT’S FUN!!
We have to have 2 registered and background checked adult volunteers to meet the minimum required adult/child ratio for all the girls who want to attend camp, or camp can't happen. Boys unit and Pre-K unit available for siblings, while the parent is volunteering.
CAMP SIZE AND UNIT AVAILABILITY DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME VOLUNTEERS!
